Vodafone & Idea are now VI || New Telecom company in India || New Network Provider || Merger of Vodafone & Idea || MYVI.IN

What is MYVI ?

Vodafone & Idea has been merged as on dated 31st August 2018 but both companies were operating their activities on separate basis. Vodafone is doing marketing on Vodafone Products & Services and Idea Cellular also for itself even after the Merger of Vodafone & Idea.





But now, Vodafone & Idea has been completely joined together and formed a new venture/entity/ and also changes its name from Vodafone Idea to Vi (upside "i").

The full name of VI is "Vodafone Idea Limited"

Just because of announcing the new name, Vodafone Idea (VI) increased its share prices by 10%

Company haven't increased the existing plans. All plans are as earlier but it may possible the prices will rise in the future

Also good news for the Vodafone Idea was: Supreme court has been given 10 years of period to company to pay the debt of 58,000 Crore Rupees as AGR.

What is AGR ?

According to CNBC TV: AGR is a fee-sharing mechanism between government and the telecommunication service providers who shifted to 'revenue-sharing fee' model in 1999, from the 'fixed license fee' model. In this course, telecommunications are supposed to share a percentage of AGR with the government

Now, if you visit Vodafone or idea's website, the website will redirect you to its new joint website named myvi.in



From now onwards, you will not going to find Vodafone or Idea stores in the market. These will be  replace with VI Store.

VI also launched its IOS and Android mobile application through which you can do Mobile Recharges, Pay Bills, Buy Services, get new Connection and perform other services.



Till now Vodafone and Ideas were suffering from Huge losses and high debts. So it may be possible that the new Look and New Name bring the company upward.

Amazon and other famous companies has been also planning to invest in Vodafone Idea Limited.

It may also possible Vodafone Idea merger can offer it's customers new amazing benefits.
