Mute Chat for Lifetime in Whats App || Whats App Mute Chat Feature || Now you can Mute users forever in Whats App

Whats App has various features which makes our chatting experience so easy & fast. Mute Chats is one of those features where Whats App allows users to Mute Certain Chats for 8 Hours, One Week and One Year.
Whats App Mute Notification Feature blocks the Notifications from muted person or groups. Messages will receive as usual but don't show in the notification panel.


Now, As per the latest Reports: Whats App Added the Feature of Lifetime Notification Feature naming "Mute Forever". This update is available on the Beta Version. Once the Testing will complete, it will also available for all global users. As per the reports, it may possible this features will roll out in the Month of October 2020.

How to Mute Chats on Whats App ?

To Mute certain Personal Chats or Group Chats you have to follow these steps:

1. Open Whats App
2. Go to Individual Chats or Group Chats which you want to Mute
3. Then click on 3 dots showing on the Top Right Corner
4. Various Options will Show there, among those: click Mune Notifications
5. Then It will ask you the time for which you want to mute the chats


6. Select on 8 Hours, One Week or One Year
7. Click on Ok

This will mute the notifications for selected periods but Messages will still receive.

After the update on Beta version regarding Forever Mute, there will be 4th option add by the Whats App team which allows users to Mute Chats forever.
