This also happens in Other Social Media Apps like: Facebook Messenger, Viber, IMO etc.
Ever Wonder Why Whats App & Other Social Media Applications decreases the Image & Video Quality ? Here's the answer :
Whats App & other Social Media Applications are IM (Instant Messaging) App & web based service to send & receive Text & Multimedia in Quick Manner. The main aim of These Social Media services is to Send & receive the messages on instant basis. We also take these services for quick communications. If I am sending the text to someone then I expect that the message should be deliver on Quick manner. This is why Whats App & Other Social Media Application decreases Quality of Images & Videos to decrease the Load on Server to Take Huge Data & to reduce Long Waiting Time to send the message.
If whats app starts to deliver the actual Images & Videos then the load on their servers will increase and also we have to wait more to send the messages to our loved ones.
In short, Whats App decreases the Image & Video Quality to Serve the quick service to it's users and to decrease load on its server.
Now, another Question Arises: Is there any method through which we can share Images with Actual Sizes available on Phone ?
The answer is Yes.
Whenever we have to share Images on Whats app we select "Photo" Sharing Option.
But, instead of using "Photo Option" use "Document" option to share Images with High Quality
Just Tap on the Share Option > Select Document > Open File Manager in Phone from selecting on Left Sidebar > Go to the folder where Image is Located > Select the Image > Send
Through Above mentioned process, everyone can share High Quality Images on Whats Appp without losing the Quality & Pixels.
