You can’t type or write on computer without using Keyboard. Keyboard allows us to write or type keywords in computer. It works as input provider to complete our tasks. Keyboard is the medium to put our thought from our mind to computer with the use of Fingers.

We don’t know how many of you have noticed that there are small bumps/Ridges or extra design on F & J buttons on keyboards. Ever thought:

Why there are special designs, Ridges or bumps on F & J words on Keyboard?

This is because: F & J buttons/keys are designed as bumped or with ridges on Keyboard to help users/typer to locate or type correct keys without looking

Then another question arises: Why just only F & J Keys on Keyboard have Ridges/Bumps?

The reason why only these keys have bumps/ridges is to help users place their hands in the optimum/perfect typing position. With our Index Fingers on the two bumped keys - your left hand covers A, S, D and F while the right covers J, K, L and colon keys on keyboard. Both thumbs always press the space bar.

Another use is: to increase the speed and accuracy of typing for a keyboard user, such as raising the edges of the A, F, J and semi-colon keys.
