Data Security on Social Media platforms is a myth. How Facebook is stealing your data ?

 Data Security on Social Media platforms is a myth. 😲


Here are some live examples I want to present in front of you today. I hope everyone knows about it already but never checked or verified. 😶‍🌫️

Just open your Facebook, Instagram or any other social media platform where an App asks you for Contact access for better reach to your known ones. Where your cell phone's contact details are being used to find the known people. 🤔

Just disable the contact access from the App menu from your phone for that particular application. 🔆

Now, here comes the twist. If you save any contact in your phonebook after the contact access disable for that app, you will find it after a day or week, the contact number you have saved in your phonebook will appear on Facebook recommendation even that person don't have any mutual fiend far away with your. 🤐

How Facebook or any other app found that you know that person. It means the app is running in the background anonymously and breaching the Commend/restrictions given by the user and using our data without our permission. 🤨

Even if you use Chinese branded cell phones, the App permissions including microphone, Location and contact access auto activates after some times when you disabled it. Default mobile applications are stealing your data without your permission. 📱

I haven't used IOS but in Android, the security is at risk. ⛔

Just thought today to share this information with you so that you can check whether there is also a breach in your phone.
