There are 4 methods through which OTT Platforms makes money:


1. Subscription Video on Demand (SVOD) - In this method, Platforms provides various subscriptions plans like monthly, quarterly, half yearly or Annual subscription which includes various services which a User can enjoy anytime. Eg., Netflix Subscriptions


2. Transnational Video On Demand (TVOD) - Under TVOD, OTT Platforms charge as per the individual Services offered. Eg, Movie & Music Purchase on Google Play, Youtube etc


3. Advertising Video On Demand (AVOD) - Under this plan, OTT Platforms shows ads to its users. This is the Advertisement based revenue source to them. Eg., Youtube


4. Hybrid (Combined) - Under Hybrid Plans, OTT Platforms provide services on Bundle. Eg., Combination of SVOD & TVOD etc.
